About us
Given the impact on young businesses caused by the Covid-19 crisis in Africa, the African Union Commission (AUC) and the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in collaboration with the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the World Bank (WB) have set up the “AFRICAN LEADER OF TOMORROW” program to give more tools to young African entrepreneurs in order to face current and future challenges depending on the context. An envelope of 3 billion American dollars was thus disbursed to provide financing to young companies and projects that could bring added value to the African economy. the program is intended to be simple to facilitate access to financing, all you need to do is register for the Mansah-Africa program to follow its certified program and submit your project to obtain financing.
Mansah Africa is a program focused on the empowerment of Africa. As a majority of African countries diversify their traditional sources of income, entrepreneurship is increasingly seen as the key to economic growth. So far, entrepreneurship has generated huge profits for entrepreneurs and, according to experts, there is huge untapped potential to lead the African continent into its next phase of development. Unemployment on the continent is also worrying. A 2013 study by the Brookings Institution, a Washington, DC-based think tank, found that African youth (15-24 years old) constitute about 37% of the working-age population. However, the same age group represents around 60% of the unemployed in Africa. “Success breeds success: as many entrepreneurs progress, more join us. Additionally, technological inventions attract entrepreneurs. » “The mentality has changed and many young people now think like employers. Many African governments have created opportunities in terms of financing and market access.

What we do
We bring together and empower young people. We put young people in charge of the transformation we want to see in the world. We connect young people and all key players from the core fields of each ecosystem (Triple-E: Entrepreneurship, Education, and Entertainment) to collaborate and solve local as well as global challenges together through collaborative projects.
Our Approach
Bringing people together, empowering young people, and collaborating to create an unstoppable stream of actions towards the change and transformation we want to see in the world. We are young people from two continents who learn together and work together for a better sustainable future.
Mindset. Connection. Action. Transformation.
Our Story
In the spring of 2020, Mansah Africa kickstarted its series of online matchmaking events connecting young changemakers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders in Africa and the Nordics. The timing was perfect. People were forced to stay at home due to the pandemic and therefore more people across the two continents could attend. But this was about more than just luck. This is just the beginning and posterity will remember these monumental shifts.”

It is an honor to support the youth in their ambitions and to help rethink and recreate the future of our education.”
Ousmane Diagana

“The WB is extremely pleased to partner with Mansah Africa. This is a unique initiative with the potential to drive the transformation of African countries by creating contacts, collaborations and fostering entrepreneurial spirit among young people. As far as we are concerned, we have found that most sales professionals in Africa still do not benefit from customer relationship management systems that could increase their efficiency, help them sell better and significantly develop their business. It’s time to change that and allow local professionals to take advantage of the program’s generous suite of intelligent, easy-to-use marketing and sales management tools.
Victoria Kwakwa
, Regional Vice President for Eastern and Southern Africa – World Bank
“Mansah Africa is off to a very good start. It’s great to see young entrepreneurs from Africa and those from the diaspora working so closely together to make a difference. And with the tremendous support they receive from African governments and the African Leaders of Tomorrow program, there is no doubt in my mind that the impact of Mansah Africa will be massive across Africa. This is the kind of leadership we need from our young people

Adesina said Mansah Africa could play a leading role in resolving not only African own challenges but global ones. “While we must deal with bread-and-butter development issues, we must think strategically as we set ourselves on a path to becoming wealthy nations.
— Dr. Akinwumi A. Adesina, African Development Bank Group
